Saturday was lazy, just how I like it. Full of a whole lotta nothing and cleaning. But it did involve Diego wearing his new collar that Annie knit for him. We call it a 'lounging collar.' I think she should sell it on Etsy.
But the real excitement came when we drove to Jax Beach to celebrate Astin turning a quarter of a century old. Astin's girlfriend Emily has been a friend of mine since high school. We randomly ran into each other at the farmer's market in Gainesville a couple years ago when she switched colleges... then she ended up in Jacksonville, too, around the time that we moved. They are the best and always up for an outdoor adventure. Happy day of birth, Astin!
