Kristin and Rachel's big Adventure

Sometimes big adventures are found in the littlest things. Like going to Publix.

(#5)
"A grapefruit?! No! A pumello!"

"It's raining... let me just borrow this umbrella from Publix... wait a minute..."

I'm thankful for my friend who make food shopping trips exciting.

pshhhh

It's Tuesday, which meant football practice & day one of many working out with Ashley before school, It also meant tackling the mother-load of papers to grade that have been accumulating on top of the lockers in my room.

It also meant finding ANYTHING to distract me from those mountains of papers...

A Picture-A-Day, #s 2&3

Day #2-- "Lunch date with my loves"
... mmmm barbecue chicken pizza.....

Day #3-- "Mmmm Kale"
.... I've been eating it EVERY DAY as an afternoon snack. It pretty much made my whole life when it was BOGO at Publix the other day. I drizzle olive oil over it, bake @ 350 for 12 minutes, then douse with Tony Cs (and the best part is licking my fingers and eating the salt off the pan afterwards... don't tell my mom I still have this habit or she'll disown me or make me read an etiquette book again.)

is it bad both these pictures have to do with food? I love to eat. Maybe I should add "Not being so obsessed with food" to my resolutions, too.

Savannah Smiles!

Ashley called at 11AM and said, "I want to go to Savannah!" I'd been unsuccessfully trying to round up people to go for a week, and while a small group, it fell into place.

Fun times were had by all. I think I should add "Going to Savannah more often" to my resolutions...

(This is Day #1... 364 to go!)

I Resolve To...

I LOVE New Year's resolutions. I've been thinking about mine for a week now and have finally found the time to sit down and write them. So without further ado (drumroll, please!) I resolve to:

1. Actually meet people and get involved at church.
2. Lose 10 lbs or 1 pant size by Amy's wedding (spring break!)
3. Be better at sending thank-you cards.
4. Stick with the new devotional I got.
5. Go backpacking at least once per season.
6. Sew myself an apron.
7. Find Christmas presents for others while traveling.
8. Pray without ceasing.
9. Take a picture a day & document it in a photo book at the end of the year (thanks for the idea, Hilary!)
10. Train for a triathlon.
11. Listen to more audio books instead of playing with phone.
12. Not kill the citrus trees my neighbor gave me.

That is all. I'm sure more will be added later.
