Have you hugged your favorite art teacher lately?

Thank you Ash for keeping me company in the ticket booth! You can play Angry Birds ANYTIME if it means I don't have to do things alone :)

I can't say it enough:

I <3 my teacher friends!

They are so full of joy and supportive and I don't know what I would do without the amazing people God has put into my life.

Our Resident Chef

In case you didn't know, the Checchia's lives are so busy that we decided to hire a live-in maid/nanny/chef.  She's really good at keeping the kitchen clean  (I might have jumped up and down for joy when I came home last week a week's worth of dishes that were marinating in the sink were magically gone.) Diego gets attention during the day now which makes us all happier (and prevents me from making rash decisions and constantly paying for doggy daycare.)  And I now have a built-in running partner, since Mike won't run with me.

Did I mention she makes phenomenal calzones?

She comes highly recommended; we are pleased with her hard work and positive attitude.

Baby, it's cold outside.

The last thing I want to do is get out of these

and to tear myself away from this

to go to here

R.O.Y.

It's nice to be acknowledged once in a while, especially at a school board meeting.

I know that a life in pursuit of Christ does not need praise to get by, but when it does come it's well-received.

I'm thankful to be in a job at a school where I'm surrounded by the most wonderful people a girl could ask for.

I'm blessed to have a principal and superintendent who put their faith first.

A surprise corsage is nice, too.

Quick post...

.... because it's bedtime. Today consisted of:

-an awesome church service with some a-ha moments (have to stick to my "spiritualutions" this year!)

-first time eating at Pollo Tropical (I've never been to a fast food restaurant with a hostess and long line out the door-- it was good, though!)

-a long run (copped and decided to do three, but read the map wrong and ended up doing 6 anyways- woo hoo!)

-and family dinner at Kristin's--- mmmm chicken parmesan....

I covet this bike. But not its hefty price tag. The sad face is because I cannot justify its purchase.

Long run in the woods! Diego does not like when you climb trees without him...
